Kensington was incorporated in 1894 with a mayor and council form of government, which is retained today. The Mayor and four Council Members are elected for two-year terms.

Please join us for monthly Town Meetings so you can observe firsthand how our local government works. The meetings are scheduled for the last Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. unless otherwise noted. The Mayor and Council also hold worksessions on the first Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. These meetings are also open to the public.
